Description
Overview
The manual Marshall compactor is used to compact 101.6 mm (4 in) Marshall specimens of bituminous mixtures by hand. The guided 4.5 kg hammer falls through a fixed 457 mm drop onto the specimen mould, giving the standard compactive effort required before Marshall stability and flow testing.
